Harvey Mandel is the pre-eminent psychedelic blues guitar legend who still thrills audiences right here in the SF Bay Area. His roots go back to Chicago, where he once heard his current band mate Freddie Roulette about 35 years ago playing a lap steel guitar sound unlike any other he had heard. Harvey's love of the blues led him to stints with the Ventures, John Mayalls Bluesbreakers, Canned Heat, The Rolling Stones, and he has a place in history as a major solo artist in his own right. An enduring veteran who truly delivers the message of the blues, Harvey Mandel stands alone. As the star of NightFire he personifies the living, vital and dynamic legend of blues guitar showmen.

Michael Borbridge is an amazing individual. His drumming career has spanned decades, and he has played with many of the greats, including Carlos Santana, Gary Wright, Elvin Bishop, Charlie Musselwhite, Pete Sears, Roy Rogers and many others. His enthusiasm and charisma electrifies audiences and his generosity and unbridled drive to success is unequaled. Michael is the master manager, band promoter, and marketing professional. A true renaissance man, Michael exudes the excitement of the live performance, and he gives it his all. NightFire would not be the same if it were not for the rhythmic dynamism and personal energy of Mr. Michael Borbridge.

Freddie Roulette has the reputation of being one of the best if not the best lap steel guitar players in the world. His soaring series of notes floats on some kind of cloud that only Freddie knows about. The sounds he gets out of his instrument defy description or classification. An old friend of Harvey Mandel's, they are once again making fantastic music together, and introducing music to a new generation of music lovers. Freddie has played with Earl Hooker, Frank Zappa, and John Lee Hooker. Freddie's unique interpretation of the blues adds a complement to the rest of the NightFire sound. Fredddie stands as a lap steel legend in his own time, and he can still take you to a very special place. He is one of a kind.

Eugene Huggins is truly one of the most soulful harmonica players around. He has played with Harvey Mandel, Chuck Berry, Buddy Guy & Junior Wells, James Cotton, Ramblin Jack Elliot, Eugene and the Bluejeans and The Casuals. Eugene enjoys living in the Marin County hills overlooking the San Francisco Bay and is featured on sixteen CDs, including artists such as Ron Hacker, Wendy DeWitt, Lisa Kindred among others. Eugene has a new solo CD, "Life is a Nightmare", which was released in 2000 and has garnered great reviews. He is currently playing and singing with NightFire, and they are busy recording their first CD.

Michael Warren, Mow as his closest friends call him, has played bass almost from birth. Born to a musical family, Michael sometimes plays keyboards, percussion and guitar and sings lead when the opportunity presents itself. During his almost 15 year career with Merl Saunders and the Rainforest Band, he has played and associated with some of the best in the music business. Michael's slick bass guitar grooves and wide musical vocabulary has gain him the respect of fans and musician from here to Japan. Michael has played with New Riders of the Purple Sage, Toots and the Maytals, Jefferson Starship, Phish, Blues Traveller, Dave Mathews and BB King.
